We are Interdependent

"In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man was born of woman. But everything came from God." 1 Corinthians 11:11-12





We have been created in the image of God.  It is a wonderful and facinating idea that we are here together to represent Him to a world in need of hope and love.  But we must be willing to work together as male and female.  We are here to compliment one another and to present Christ in holiness. 

Yet, so often the Church still divides men and women.  We must learn that we are interdependent and we cannot fully represent Christ without one another.  In this new year, let us agree to work together to show the love of Christ to the world.

Heavenly Father, here we stand at the doorway of 2010.  Help us to fully represent you to the world that others may know You and Your love.  Amen.
